Mother Material

An Installation

taps sculpture fine art

Mother Material is presented as an installation sited in an empty dwelling, the elements encountered room by room. The work which in part questions privilege in healthcare and loss of body autonomy within female experience also draws upon personal histories and geographies. It examines the giving and receiving of care and spaces and times as sites of connection.
